Predictive maintenance means deciding when to carry out maintenance by measuring the condition of the machine. There is no need to equip the whole factory with sensors at once.
The best way to start is to choose the single machine that causes the biggest loss when it stops. Its normal operating behaviour is learned over a few weeks, after which deviations are flagged automatically.
