General system features

Zone-based location

The warehouse, line or room each asset is in is determined automatically by the gateways.

Unauthorised exit alarm

When valuable equipment leaves its defined area, security and the person responsible are notified.

Automatic counting

Real-time inventory from tags instead of manual counts; missing and surplus items are listed.

Utilisation rate

Motion detection measures how much equipment is used and reveals idle assets.

Assignment tracking

Records which tool is with which employee and when it was taken and returned.

Maintenance and calibration

Maintenance and calibration dates are reminded for each piece of equipment.

Frequently asked questions

How long do the tag batteries last?

It depends on the reporting interval, but tag batteries usually last several years. Battery level is monitored on the panel and weak batteries are reported in advance.

How precise is the location?

Indoors, location is determined at zone level (room, warehouse, line). Outdoors, GPS tags give a location on the map.

Does it work with my barcode or RFID system?

Yes. Your existing barcode and RFID inventory records are imported and the tags are matched with existing asset numbers.

Does it work on metal equipment?

Special tags are used for metal surfaces. We select the right tag for each equipment type during the survey.
