General system features

Hourly consumption

An hour-by-hour consumption profile instead of a single monthly reading; see how much is used at what time.

Leak detection

Water flow that never stops throughout the night is flagged and reported as a plumbing leak.

Allocation and billing

Consumption shares and billing lists per unit are prepared automatically in residential complexes and business centres.

Comparison

Consumption comparison per building, block or line; high-consumption points stand out.

Meter tampering alarm

Cut meter cables, magnetic tampering and loss of communication are reported.

Export

Readings are exported in a format that can be imported into Excel and accounting software.

Installation process

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to replace my existing meters?

A reading module is added to meters with a pulse output or an optical/Modbus port; no replacement is needed. For meters without these outputs, we can recommend compatible meters.

How long do the module batteries last?

Depending on the reading interval, battery-powered modules usually work for years; battery status is monitored on the panel.

Can I read the distribution company’s meter?

Interfering with meters owned by the distribution company requires permission. Usually you add your own measuring point after the main meter to monitor your own consumption.

What is the coverage range?

With LoRaWAN a single gateway can cover a building and its surroundings, or several kilometres in open areas; basements may need an additional gateway.
